CHAPTER-1 (Roses have thorns)

CHAPTER-1

A small girl of 10 years  is sitting on a swing at a lonely park. There is no one around her no one to

push the swing no one to play with her. She is an orphan. She stays in the nearby orphanage. She is

shy usually stays quiet and doesn't get along with other kids in the orphanage. She always in the

same way sit alone in the park but that day something different happen a boy of same age came

there. He saw the girl then came behind her and started pushing the swing. She for a moment was

shocked but then started to enjoy. They were enjoying playing around the park. After sometime they

both being tired sat down on the bench. The boy said “ I am rihaan” and asked her name, she

replied “ I am Kaira”.

Rihaan asked  “ Where are your friends ?”

Kaira replied sadly “ I dont have any frnd”.

Hearing this Rihaan stood up and extending his hand for a handshake said “ Friends ??”.

Kaira shook hand and said “Friends”.

At that time the caretaker of orphanage Miss Jones came and took Kaira with her. Greeting bye and

promising Rihaan of meeting again tomorrow she went with the caretaker. Kaira was narrating the

whole incident to her joyously. The lady was very fond of the girl but was always sad seeing her

alone and making no friends but today she made a friend and was delightfully listening her.

On the other hand Rihaan went to his lavish home where his mother was waiting for him. He too

happily narrated the incident to his mother. She was very tensed when the whole way to their new

home Rihaan was sad but now she felt relieved seeing his son’s happiness.  

Next day Rihaan went to the park at the same time and was waiting for her. She came there and

both started to play and talk.

They used to meet everyday in the park conversing about their day, sharing their secrets, sadness

and happiness and sometime would also fight. Rihaan’s parents also liked her.Their friendship grew

stronger with every passing day.They became best friends. They made new friends, Kabir, Veer and

Alia. With Rihaan, Kaira changed for good, she was no more scared of meeting new people and

making new friends. They five were inseparable.

CHARACTERS:

Rihaan Raichand a cheerful, confident and genius billionaire with looks so perfect that girls crave

for a single glance. A friendly, light hearted person turns into a ruthless businessman. Rihaan used

to care so much for his family and friends but something happens which makes him indifferent

towards everyone. Some incidents forces him feel only two emotions anger and regret.

Kaira a shy, reserved, sincere and kind hearted girl. She is an orphan, for her rihaan and his parents

are everything. Her world revolves around rihaan, she cares for him so much that she can go to any

extent for his happiness even if she have to bear pain for that.

Alia Mathur an elegant, proud sole heir to her father’s wealth. She is beautiful, smart and her look is

perfect to make any man fall for her. Her arrogance is her charm. She is obsessed with Rihaan. She

is selfish and can be cruel to anyone to get what she wants. But may be love can change her.

Raj Raichand father of Rihaan. The richest businessman in india but he have earned this position

with his hard work. He is a self made man. He loves his wife very much. Rihaan’s cheerful and

friendly nature comes from his dad. The saying that sons are the xerox copy of their father fits

perfectly here.

Nandini Raichand mother of Rihaan and wife of Raj. A soft spoken and lovely woman. Always

believes in good in people. Her kindness made raj’s heart throb for her. Madly in love with her

husband. She treats kaira as her own daughter.

Kabir Singh a womaniser and spoilt brat.

Veer Singh a true gentleman. Twin brother of kabir but complete opposite of him. He have huge

crush on Kaira from childhood days.

It's a story of two best friends Rihaan and Kaira

Roses have thorns and love has pain……

He was still staring at sky but his face showed that he was in deep thought which didn't go unnoticed

by Kaira. She put her hand on his shoulder and then he taking a long breath breaking the silence said

“ I wanted to tell you something, actually wanted to share my feelings " I think I'm in love…..” hearing

this Kaira’s heart started to race she was desperate to know what he will say next but at the same time

don't want to hear, afraid if it was something which her heart couldn't bear. ‘ i think i m in love with Alia’.
